1. Who we are
VeritasIQ (veritasiq.in) is a Contact Point Verification (CPV) platform serving banks and financial institutions in India.
2. What data we process
We process personal data strictly for verification services performed on behalf of our client banks and financial institutions, including:
- Applicant identity details (name, date of birth, addresses, contact details) received from the client institution;
- Identity and financial documents submitted for verification (e.g. PAN, Aadhaar, GST, bank statements, income documents);
- Field-visit records: photographs of premises, GPS coordinates, and verification form responses captured by our field executives;
- Platform usage data of authorised staff users (login sessions, actions performed) for security and audit purposes.
3. Why we process it
Personal data is processed only to complete the verification mandate given by the client institution, to prepare and dispatch verification reports to that institution, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing.
4. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored on secured servers, and sensitive identifiers are encrypted at rest and masked on screen. Access is role-based, restricted to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis, and every action is recorded in an immutable audit log.
5. Retention
Verification records are retained for up to 8 years in line with regulatory expectations and client agreements, after which they are securely disposed of.
6. Sharing
Reports and supporting evidence are shared only with the client institution that commissioned the verification. Limited data may be shared with authorised government verification sources (e.g. PAN/Aadhaar/GST validation services) solely to perform the verification.
